The Ulster Angling Federation (UAF) Lead Angling Coach pathway is designed for individuals aged 18+ who want to plan, deliver and lead structured angling coaching sessions, helping others develop skills and participate safely in the sport.
UAF licensed coaches play a key role in introducing new participants to angling, developing skills and delivering inclusive, safe and enjoyable coaching sessions across clubs, schools and community programmes.
Coaches support initiatives such as youth development, club coaching sessions and participation programmes, helping to grow angling across Northern Ireland.
Cancellation and Refunds
Participants may transfer their place to another individual or request a transfer to a future course date (subject to availability) where sufficient notice is given.
In the event that the course is cancelled by the organiser, a full refund or transfer to an alternative date will be offered.
Additional Support & Reimbursement
We are committed to making angling coaching accessible and inclusive. Support or subsidised places may be available for:
Disabled participants
Female anglers
Other underrepresented groups (where applicable)
Where a participant pays the full course fee and is later confirmed as meeting eligibility criteria, a partial reimbursement may be issued.
Eligibility will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
Supporting information may be requested
Reimbursements will be processed after verification and subject to available funding
